Next month, PM and SDSM leader Dimitar Kovacevski will summon a meeting with parties represented in Parliament for the date of the parliamentary and presidential elections to be set.
As he said on Thursday, prior to the end of the current composition of Parliament’s term, MPs will need to vote through Electoral Code changes, including the OSCE/ODIHR remarks.
The PM’s stand is that there is enough room in May of next year for presidential and parliamentary elections to be held. A deal still hasn’t been reached on joint participation of SDSM and coalition partners.
The previous day, DUI Vice- President Bujar Osmani had told TV21 that the election processes should be held simultaneously in order to prevent the administration sector from being hired three times.
