PM Mickoski again Says All Nightclubs not Meeting Criteria will Be Shut down

Regarding the Kocani nightclub fire, PM Hristijan Mickoski said on Tuesday that the State Market inspectorate and Economy Ministry were conducting controls. He again emphasized that all nightclubs not meeting criteria to operate would be shut down.

Asked whether Ljupco Papazov, who had resigned as Kocani Mayor, would be held accountable to a certain extent over the nightclub fire, the PM stated that authorities would that day check all documents of the Municipality.

According to him, everyone responsible for wrongdoing will be held to account, regardless of their political or other affiliation.
