At their meeting on Thursday, which lasted around 90 minutes, PM Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM leader Venko Filipce reached a deal according to which working groups will be formed that will work on implementation of the Reform Agenda in the judiciary, energy, and health sector.
Filipce said the working bodies should start their activities as soon as possible, adding that all parties were invited to join them.
“I will nominate several judiciary and energy experts to join the preparation of the laws part of the Reform Agenda that should arrive in Parliament”, he pointed out.
The opposition leader expects that in the period after that, on the basis of what will be drawn up as a preliminary model of cooperation, all parties will sit at the table together.
The Government, in a press-release, stated that the need to work on the common future for citizens, as well as on consensus between different sides on key issues for the country and well-being of all citizens, had been highlighted at the meeting.
“Macedonian state interests should be the point of departure in talks on every matter”, it added.
