PM Mickoski Comments on Prespa Deal Implementation and Bulgaria Issues

In an interview with Al Jazeera Balkans, PM Hristijan Mickoski said the policy of his country blindly doing everything it was asked to hadn’t brought results.

“I expect mature and good-neighbourly behaviour from Greece. As a country, we’ve done more than the obligations referred to in the Prespa Agreement, whereas they still use offensive terms for Macedonia and Macedonians,” he stressed.

Regarding Bulgaria and the constitutional changes issue, the PM stated that if there was a desire in Brussels, the solution was for his proposal for Parliament to make the changes, but for them to enter into force once the country became a full-fledged EU member, to be accepted.

In another interview, with MTV1, Mickoski reiterated his stand that good-neighbourly relations without obstacles are a two-way street.
