Answering a journalist’s question before heading to the airport to head to Brussels, PM Hristijan Mickoski said on Wednesday the Government had created a fantastic document from the Growth Plan.
“With the formation of the cabinet, we submitted it to the office of the European Commission here in Skopje. Afterwards, it arrived there in Brussels. That’s the purpose of my visit and luncheon with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen,” he stressed during a visit to Aerodrom Municipality.
Asked whether his stand that the constitutional changes should enter into force once the country joined the EU could be discussed in Brussels, Mickoski declined to comment.
“We want to know that if we start the EU road, as it was being promised to us in 2018, we will finish it in three, four, five years tops,” the PM noted.
Asked about the Government’s information about the termination of Skopje-based HEJ-National Lottery deal for renting business premises, Mickoski said the authorities had found it hadn’t been signed according to a market price, adding that there was grounded suspicion for criminal liability.
