PM Mickoski Expects Meetings with Bulgarian Governmental Representatives in Period Ahead

PM Hristijan Mickoski expects meetings to be held with representatives of Bulgaria’s Government in the period ahead. As he pointed out on Thursday, that’s something that shouldn’t be surprising because it’s normal for the country to talk to and build relations with its neighbours.

“As far as meetings are concerned, we already had meetings in the past with the most senior Bulgarian leadership with their then-caretaker PM. I expect, in the period ahead, for there to be meetings with the Bulgarian Government at a different level. That’s not something that should surprise us. Neither we nor they will disappear”, the PM underlined.

According to him, though North Macedonia must build good-neighbourly relations, that doesn’t mean it agrees with some topics that are divisive.

“Macedonia’s made so many concessions that it’s deserved at least to start the process”, Mickoski underlined.
