Poll: VMRO-DPMNE and Mickoski Still with Highest Rating

According to a poll conducted, from 20 March to 17 April, by Market Vision for the MKD portal, VMRO-DPMNE and its leader, Hristijan Mickoski, still have a convincing lead ratings-wise. 25.4% of respondents said they trusted Mickoski, while SDSM leader Venko Filipce is second, with a rating of 3.8%.

In the ethnic Albanian political bloc, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti has the highest rating, 6.2%. However, the combined rating of VLEN co-leaders Izet Mexhiti, Bilall Kasami, Speaker Afrim Gashi, and Health Minister Arben Taravari is higher than Ahmeti’s.

During the poll, Taravari was VLEN co-leader, while Gashi is not VLEN’s co-leader because he resigned in order to be able to hold the position of Speaker, according to the Constitution, that is, his party, Alternative is led by Zeqirja Ibrahimi.

Asked whether they would vote if the local elections were scheduled for the following day, as many as 66% of respondents said they would do so.
