President Says Way She’ll Use Country Name is Personal Orientation

President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova said on Friday she respected both the Prespa Agreement and international law.

As she explained, the way she will use the name of the country is a “personal orientation, a right guaranteed by acts higher than bilateral agreements”. Siljanovska Davkova said she had a plan.

“The plan is to offer respect and ask for self-respect. And I think that just like in politics, one should search for the art of the possible, we will do it soon. My first statement was that I wouldn’t go around the world, that I wanted to meet neighbours, and I think I will achieve that.

Sure enough, a conversation takes everybody around one and we have no other choice but to talk. Dialogue is a sound thing and there will be no result if there is no mutual respect. Politics takes dialogue and I am ready to search for that and for us to mutually overcome problems,” the President pointed out.
