On Saturday, President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova said that she’d had, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Peace Summit taking place in Switzerland, a brief conversation with US Vice President Kamala Harris.
“We hope for further strengthening of bilateral relations with the US,” the President stated, adding that her country highly appreciated the support from its strategic partner.
The following day, the President, posting a photo of her shaking hands with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the frames of the Summit, said on social media that Germany’s commitment to a stronger EU was welcome in her country. Siljanovska Davkova also had a brief meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
