Presidential Campaign Continues

Activities of the seven presidential candidates have continued. On Monday, SDSM-endorsed Stevo Pendarovski met citizens and presented parts of his programme in Saraj, Cair, Gjorce Petrov, and Gazi Baba.

“If the country doesn’t move forward, these young people that you see, that have stayed in the country will leave for a place where there is a better job, to create a family, and to be happier. Nobody will wait for us to improve the country for 20-30-40 years,” he stressed.

VMRO-DPMNE endorsed Gordana Siljanovska Davkova’s caravan visited Krivogastani, Krusevo, and Prilep. At the rally in Krivogastani, party leader Mickoski said it was clear that Siljanovska Davkova would win the election.

He also levelled fierce criticism at DUI, saying it was referring to him as anti-Albanian and a xenophobe only because he was talking vocally about its crimes Previously, Siljanovska Davkova had responded to DUI presidential candidate Bujar Osmani’s invitation to a TV duel.

“I am now listening that Osmani too is challenging me to a duel. Imagine what matters most to him? Politicians being certified. Yet who gives the certificate? You, the citizens, the people! Well, let’s see whether he will get a certificate. Let him come to a duel with everybody and we will then see who they will certify,” she stressed.

The other candidates continued to meet citizens and inform them about their platform.
