On Thursday, SDSM-endorsed presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski started his activities to win a second term.
At the opening of his election HQ in Skopje, he said that considering the number of candidates, seven, nobody could win in the first round. However, he is convinced that he will win in the second round and get another term.
Pendarovski held his first rally in Prilep, where he presented parts of his programme and underlined the need for North Macedonia to continue to move forward.
VMRO-DPMNE’s candidate, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova held her first rally in Skopje, where she discussed her plans to, as it was pointed out, make the position of President matter again.
When it comes to DUI presidential candidate Bujar Osmani, he will use a bus to tour the country in the frames of his campaign. Symbolically, he started his activities outside the President’s residence at Villa Vodno, where he hopes he will move after the elections.
GROM’s candidate, Stevco Jakimovski, started his campaign in Tetovo, where he met citizens.
“The huge support proves citizens are fed up with the black-and-white world of SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE,” he said.
ZNAM’s candidate, Maksim Dimitrievski, started his campaign in Krusevo. Among his five strategic principles and as many priorities are forming a special team of EU experts for adaptation of the negotiating framework, with focus on historical issues.
