The activities of the presidential candidates have continued. On Thursday, the caravan of President Stevo Pendarovski, who’s running for a second term, visited Nov Dojran, Bogdanci, Valandovo, and Gevgelija.
Pendarovski criticised VMRO-DPMNE’s “anti-EU” behaviour. “They’re announcing they will renegotiate and reach better agreements. But who can guarantee that? Nobody! They will just take the country 10-15 years back and return it to the dark past,” he said.
VMRO-DPMNE presidential candidate Siljanovska Davkova’s programme was presented in Dolneni, Makedonski Brod, and Kicevo. In Dolneni, Mickoski said the choice was easy.
“There are two options: a proud Macedonia and Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and an embarrassed and humiliated Macedonia represented by Pendarovski,” the VMRO-DPMNE leader stressed.
Previously, in an interview with Bitola-based Tera, Siljanovska Davkova had said the government had caused chaos with the EU flag abuse. The other five candidates, too, continued their meetings with citizens.
