In an interview with Sitel on Tuesday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski again said Gordana Siljanovska Davkova would have a resounding victory in the presidential elections.
“According to all those polls and analysis we have, her lead over Stevo Pendarovski will be over 100,000 votes, at least 100,000 votes in the first round. I believe that will send a serious message to voters about how they should mobilise for the second round of the presidential elections, as well as for the 8 May parliamentary elections,” he stated.
Regarding the parliamentary elections, Mickoski expects his party, “based on what the polls are showing and on the mood of voters”, to win 53-56 MP seats.
Tuesday also saw Arben Taravari and Maksim Dimitrievski, the candidates endorsed by the ethnic Albanian opposition, VLEN, and ZNAM, respectively, each collect the required 10,000 signatures, which means they are now officially part of the presidential race.
