VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has described reactions in Greece to the use of the country’s name as hysteria.
“I suppose that hysteria is related to the elections. I don’t expect Taliban-like behaviour. The future government, led by VMRO-DPMNE, will respect everything that is contained in the Prespa Agreement and that is part of our legal system and constitutional order.
We received the MP certificates with the new adjective. The draft-law [concerning the Organisation and Work of State Administration Bodies], too, contains the adjective. However, the right to freedom of expression and speech is a human right of mine, guaranteed by many conventions,” he said on Wednesday.
