Representatives of several private companies providing bus transport for the citizens of Skopje informed on Monday that they reached an agreement with JSP Skopje for payment of 80% of the debt the PE has towards them.
As a result of this agreement, the private transporters returned their vehicles back in traffic, servicing their lines regularly.
“We managed to reach an agreement for them to pay us around 40 million denars they owe us, and at the next session of the Council of the City of Skopje, we will discuss the price per kilometre.
We hope the council members will accept our proposal, so that we can be able to procure new vehicles and provide better service to the citizens,” said Oliver Petrusevski from one of the companies for private bus transport.
