Chief Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski is facing a no-confidence vote.
A group of MPs from three parties from the ethnic Albanian bloc, that is, Alternative, BESA, and Democratic Movement have filed the proposal. The reason is the trial over the 2021 Tetovo hospital fire.
The MPs ask for Joveski to explain his role in the case before both Parliament and the People, as a result of the suspicions that the Office was hiding facts and information in the whole procedure to protect certain politicians. The proposal is supported by VMRO-DPMNE too.
