In an interview with Sitel, Prosecutor General Kocevski says the formation of a committee of inquiry in Parliament over the Kochani fire isn’t currently necessary. He points out that politics should take its hands off the procedure because the trial is underway.
“We expect a transparent procedure, the Court determines the dynamism of trial”, Kocevski notes, adding that he made the decision on additional prosecutors in order to prevent the procedure from being stalled.
He doesn’t believe there will be a long period of time until the first-instance decision because there are designated deadlines.
