Prosecutor’s Office Presents Information on Drango Pre-investigation

The Public Prosecutor’s Office has presented information about the course of the pre-investigation into Saso Drango, who has been dismissed as Makedonijapat (Macedoniaroad) PE Deputy Director and succeeded by Aleksandar Sukovski, in the case concerning the photo showing him holding a rifle next to a dead bear.

His phone is being checked in an expertise procedure. The Interior Ministry, however, is yet to respond to all requests from the Office. Drango, who heads the office of VMRO-DPMNE Union of Veterans in Demir Hisar, has been interrogated.

A search has been conducted as well in the case. Drango, who was appointed in July of last year, submitted a declaration of assets at the start of February, that is, after the 30-day legal deadline.

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) has told Telma that though a case hasn’t been formed over the ex-PE Deputy Head, it will take the TV’s station’s question as information, take action, and notify the medium.
