Ramadani Case: Mickoski Asks why Decision on House Arrest Was Made

According to PM Hristijan Mickoski, ex-KLA member Blerim Ramadani’s house arrest escape confirms again that there is a reason why citizen confidence in the judiciary is at a level of 2%.

“I know where he is not, he’s not under house arrest,” he said on Friday, asking why it had been decided for him to be under house arrest in the first place.

The PM believes that Judge Pajazit Pajaziti, who made the decision changing the detention measure to a house arrest one, is known for many controversial decisions, including the one on the M-NAV case.

Another issue that Mickoski believes should be discussed is why the case has become a political topic.

“This shouldn’t have been a topic. I call for us not to allow our neighbours to use our country as a proxy for flexing muscles in front of one another. Court practice is clear” Mickoski stressed.
