SDSM has rejected VMRO-DPMNE’s accusations regarding the draft Electoral Code. According to Filipche’s party, the actual goal of the Government is to commit election crimes and manipulation involving 200,000 votes from the diaspora. SDSM again points out that even postal voting would see no control and guarantees regarding the true will of citizens.
“SDSM has a principled stance, we will protect the vote of every citizen against abuse and manipulation”, the party stresses.
Levica, however, has offered a way out of the Code issue. It is proposing a compromise regarding the rigid positions of the ruling majority concerning diaspora voting and the introduction of a single electoral district.
