SDSM has criticised the authorities, asking why they have allowed Oncology Clinic patients to be left without biological therapy.
“Instead of providing timely funding and planning of procurement, the Government has allowed a shortage of essential drugs,” it said, adding that while the Health Minister, Arben Taravari, “was taking walks in Washington”, there was chaos in his sector.
On the other hand, Health Insurance Fund Director Saso Klekovski said, inter alia, the lack of therapy was a result of improper planning in 2024, the transition from 2024 to this year, and a rise in the number of patients in December.
