Rokas Nominated by Borrell as EU Ambassador to North Macedonia

Greek diplomat Michalis Rokas has been nominated by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell as the EU Ambassador to North Macedonia, the European External Action Service (EEAS) said on Tuesday.

“He is currently serving as EU Ambassador to Malaysia. Mr Rokas has previously served as Head of Division for support to Delegations in the EEAS,” it was added, inter alia, in the press-release.

Miroslav Lajcak, currently serving as the EU’s Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and Other Western Balkan Regional Issues, has been nominated as the EU Ambassador to Switzerland.
