Saso Drango Denies Having Killed Bear

In response to criticism on social media and accusations from the Anima Mundi association for protection of animals, Makedonijapat (Macedoniaroad) PE Deputy Director Saso Drango, who heads the office of VMRO-DPMNE Union of Veterans in Demir Hisar, has said he didn’t kill the bear, even though the photo shows him next to the dead animal in a forest and holding a rifle.

He says that he will seek a solution to the case in court. Drango adds that he’d gone bear hunting in Finland, of which there were photos.

According to him, the photo citizens in North Macedonia have reacted to shows him and a bear that had previously been killed in a traffic accident on the Bitola-Resen road.

“So, as a Macedoniaroad employee, I was there. There are minutes of that at the Bitola Police Station too”, he claims.
