The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) will submit an accountability initiative before relevant institutions because it has found that Health Minister Ilir Demiri illegally dismissed Danil Petrovski as Toxicology Clinic Medical Director.
According to the SCPC, Demiri did so before the end of the election process and without an approval from the Managing Board. The signing of temporary service contracts with the 18 persons at the Clinic whose employment had finished was illegal, too, because, as the SCPC explained on Monday, they were signed only by one of the heads, that is, only by Organisational Director Besia Ilazi.
The SCPC found that Demiri broke the law also with regards to the dismissal of Marjan Sokarovski as Cardiac Surgery Clinic head. Over that, too, the body will submit an accountability initiative.
