SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE with New Accusations over Fake News Issue

The SDSM-VMRO-DPMNE accusations over the alleged fake news issue have continued.

VMRO-DPMNE said on Saturday that President and presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski, Intelligence Agency Director Erold Musliu, and SDSM Secretary-General Mile Zecevic had developed a scheme for falsification of documents and for fake news for election purposes.

As the opposition stressed, Israeli strategist Assaf Eisen, who’s part of the group led by Tal Hanan, is part of the network. Pendarovski’s election HQ, however, denied the accusations, adding that a defamation lawsuit would be filed.

Previously, SDSM had called for the role of State Election Commission (SEC) President Aleksandar Dastevski to be checked because the documents, which are being dismissed by VMRO-DPMNE as fake, include also his name in terms of a role in the elections regarding undecided voters.
