SDSM Criticises Mickoski over Borissov Comments

SDSM has criticised PM Hristijan Mickoski’s comments, made on Monday, that he had had a phone conversation with Boyko Borissov in which he had congratulated him on the election victory and expressed optimism that he would be able to form a cabinet.

The opposition party ironically asked what had happened to last month’s accusations between Borissov and Transport Minister and Deputy PM Aleksandar Nikoloski.

The GERB leader, SDSM also stated, said Nikoloski should resign, while the latter, it was added in the press-release, mentioned matters such as “hundreds of thousands of euros” in his response to the Bulgarian politician’s comments.

According to SDSM, Mickoski should say whether he and Borissov talked about Nikoloski’s comments and the Bulgarian politician’s stand that Nikoloski should resign.

“If they didn’t, that means the double standards, political hypocrisy, and lying to citizens are the only constant and trait of VMRO-DPMNE and Mickoski,” Venko FIlipce’s party stated.
