SDSM Criticises VMRO-DPMNE Women MPs for Changing Mind over Reaction Condemning Discrimination

The opposition has levelled new criticism over the issue of Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kocoska’s comments, in response to a question from SDSM MP Slavjanka Petrovska (who is not married and doesn’t have children), during the 27 February Q&A session of Parliament.

On Wednesday, SDSM MP Jovanka Trencevska said the Club of Women MPs had become a protector of women politicians discriminating and disparaging women MPs.

“At yesterday’s session of the Club, a deal was reached, which stemmed from the discussions, through consensus from everyone present, to publish a reaction condemning every form of discrimination against women and every insulting, undignified, and unreasonable conduct disparaging women in politics from Parliament’s rostrum.

However, VMRO-DPMNE’s women MPs, just several hours after the session, changed their mind and withdrew the consent for the reaction to be published. They should say who called them and changed their mind”, she stated.
