At a press-conference on Wednesday, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrusevski presented photos of Jon Frckoski, head of SDSM’s Research and Analyses Centre, he said had appeared on social media, asking publicly whether they showed the SDSM member taking cocaine.
“We are publicly asking whether what he is taking in the photo is the narcotic substance of cocaine. If that is true, does he do drugs on the premises of SDS[M] or on the premises of JSC for Management of Residential and Business Premises, where he was the Assistant Director? Is Jon Frckoski ready to take a drug test publicly? We are asking also what the stand of his party leader, Venko Filipce, on this situation is”, Petrusevski noted.
At the press-conference, Petrusevski described Jon’s father, ex-minister Ljubomir Frckoski, as one of the “fathers of the criminal transition” process in the 1990s.
Several hours later, Jon Frckoski said he was resigning from the position of Director of SDSM’s Research and Analyses Centre, adding that it was low and inhuman on the ruling party’s part to defocus the public from the disastrous way in which the investigation into the Kocani fire was being carried out.
“I am not proud of mistakes in the past and weaknesses when I was young, but they will not be a burden of SDSM, the party that exposes all crimes of VMRO-DPMNE. I am withdrawing from the position of Director of SDSM’s Research and Analyses Center for moral reasons. Gratitude to the family and friends for their support in this entire filthy campaign into which [VMRO-]DPMNE’s mercenaries have pushed me”, he said on social media.
Petrusevski had presented the photos in response to previous press-conferences by Frckoski about the Kocani fire.
