Serbia’s Vucevic in Skopje, Discusses Multiple Topics with Counterpart Mickoski

During his visit to Skopje, on Monday, Serbian PM Milos Vucevic held a meeting with his counterpart, Hristijan Mickoski, at which they discussed multiple topics.

“We discussed challenges facing the region, saying it was necessary for us, in these turbulent times, to be together and work towards stability and security of the entire region,” Mickoski stated.

The Serbian PM stressed that his country fully supported North Macedonia’s EU path and believed in the common European fate for the entire region. In the frames of the visit, the Government representatives of the two countries also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in the field of energy, mining, and mineral raw materials.

As Mickoski explained, building a gas interconnector, from Greece, through North Macedonia, to Serbia and Central Europe, as well as the implementation of Corridor 10, that is, a quick rail link from Skopje towards Serbia and towards Greece will be among the priorities.

The goal of the two countries is serious energy connectivity and independence, North Macedonia’s PM underlined.
