Several Draft-Laws Filed by Previous Government Withdrawn from Procedure

Public Administration Minister Goran Mincev said on Tuesday that his Ministry, according to its legal competences, had withdrawn, from procedure in Parliament, draft-laws filed by the previous ruling structure concerning administrative servants, public sector employees, and training of administrative servants.

The goal of the new legal framework is to improve human resource management in the administration sector and ensure merit-based employments and promotions.

“Over the past period, I’ve had multiple meetings with representatives of civil society, NGOs, trade unions, and international organisations. They, too, highlighted the need for completing the draft-laws. To that end, starting from tomorrow, the Ministry will organise a consultations process,” he said.

The process will be carried out through a campaign headlined “All Together for Professional and Quality Public Administration”.
