Six Police Officers to Face Responsibility over Incident with PS Gashi at Blace

The Internal Control Department at the Interior Ministry reported today that six police officers stationed at the Blace border-crossing towards Kosovo will face disciplinary measures, after the internal investigation located within them the responsibility for the scandal involving PS Afrim Gashi.

“After the insight in the provided materials, the Internal Control Department will prepare proposals for disciplinary measures against police officers N.R., M.S., A.B., N.B, B.A. and B.S.

According to the findings, after Gashi’s delegation crossed the border, they were followed by another six civil vehicles which joined the delegation and were not subjected to any controls whatsoever. Even though the traveling documents of PS Gashi and the members of his family and the members of his delegation were given to the police officers on time, they were never registered in the system,” they report from the Internal Control Department.
