The State Sanitary and Healthcare Inspectorate (SSHI) conducted an urgent inspection at the Toxicology Clinic at the Mother Teresa Clinic Centre in Skopje, after it was reported in the media that 18 part-time employees have returned to work by Organisational Director Besijana Ilazi.
“Our inspection revealed that the employment contracts of the 18 employees in question contain only the signature of the Organisational Director, while the law clearly states that the signature of the Medical Director is necessary too.
The contracts with one signature only are void, but the law does not prescribe any form of punishment in such case. Henceforth, we shall notify the Health Ministry, which should determine further proceedings,” said SSHI Director Renata Mladenovska.
