On Friday, Levica’s amendments postponed the start of the debate on the Draft-Rules of Procedure at the Committee on Rules of Procedure and Mandatory-Immunity Issues.
The party’s two MPs, Dimitar Apasiev and Borislav Krmov, were adjusting stands with Speaker Talat Xhaferi for eight hours. Apasiev, who’s also the leader of the party, said that part of their proposals hadn’t been accepted. However, as he added, there is mood from both sides for a deal to be reached.
“Nonetheless, we have red lines we will not cross,” he noted. Xhaferi, who’s the proponent of the changes, stated that around 30 amendments had been aligned. He is optimistic that MPs will give the green light.
