So far, SDSM and DUI haven’t expressed open support for the announced legal changes according to which there will be no early mayoral elections if a municipality’s head that will take another office has served over half of their term, that is, the municipality will be run by an acting mayor.
DUI said on Thursday it was yet to build a stand on the matter, while SDSM presented a similar stand.
“Once the draft-changes are submitted, we will consider it and decide at a coordination how to vote on the matter,” the latter stated. VLEN said the draft-changes would be filed to Parliament not later than Monday.
