Stoilkovic Levels Serious Allegations over Ministry’s Work during Predecessor Grubi’s Term

On journalist Ljupco Cvetanovski’s podcast, Deputy PM and Intercommunity Relations Minister Ivan Stoilkovic has levelled serious allegations over the work of the Intercommunity Relations Ministry during the term of his predecessor, Artan Grubi, who also served as 1st Deputy PM in the frames of the previous cabinet.

As Stoilkovic points out, the Ministry was used as a “private company”, while the furnishings and financial accounts indicate illegal activities and negligence.

According to him, nothing, not even coffee, cups, and fixed telephones, was left behind.

“There were even cameras that had been set up within the cabinet. However, they, too, were removed”, Stoilkovic points out.

It’s a serious oversight, he adds, that furnishings were never inventorised.

Stoilkovic says results of checks are astonishing and will be considered at a closed session of the Government. The Ministry would spend huge amounts at kafanas, he notes.

“Checks totalling 20, 30, and even 40 thousand denars would be made on a daily basis. Over the past months, I haven’t paid any check with Ministry funds. I’ve paid for everything out of my own pocket”, Stoilkovic stresses.

He reveals also that two kebab joints, received around 20,000 euros, through a tender for hospitality services. According to Telma, they are Pcela and Dalma Catering. One of the most serious irregularities, Stoilkovic stresses, is the employment of DUI members.

“95% of the Ministry’s employees are ethnic Albanians of DUI. The institution would be used as a party bureau”, the Minister underlines. He also alleges that around 10 cases of no-show jobs have been found, while some of those people lived and worked abroad. Yet, they would get pay on a regular basis.
