Stoilkovic, Mexhiti, and Toskovski with Similar Views on No-Confidence Motions

Commenting on the no-confidence motion against him, Deputy PM and Intercommunity Relations Minister Ivan Stoilkovic said on Thursday it was yet another step that was part of DUI’s planned destabilisation, that is, causing problems in the country along ethnic lines. He doesn’t expect the motion to be successful.

1st Deputy PM Izet Mexhiti, too, believes the motion against him is just an attempt to destabilise the country and avoid accountability. Interior Minister Pance Toskovski shares the 1st Deputy PM’s view. As he pointed out, the no-confidence motion against him is an attempt to divert attention because the fight against crime and corruption has been intensified.

Also on Thursday, media reported that a large number of DUI members had been sharing a video of its leader Ali Ahmeti. The video, reportedly, contains scenes of the 2001 conflict showing Ahmeti in a NLA uniform and says he has so far never lost any war.
