The suspended Chief of the Skopje Higher Prosecutor’s Office, Mustafa Hajrullahi, has criticised the Natasa Krstevska Caleva decision, accusing Chief Public Prosecutor Ljupco Kocevski of wanting to please prosecutors of the now-defunct Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO).
As he noted, Kocevski, in an attempt to save several SPO prosecutors from their crimes within the now-defunct institution, has sealed his own career.
“The servility of the Council of Public Prosecutors is obvious. Precisely for those reasons, it’s more than necessary to reform that body too, which has been caught by the cancer called ‘SPO’”, Hajrullahi noted.
