Taravari and Mexhiti & Kasami Ignore One Another at Event

Even though they attended the same event on Saturday, Health Minister Arben Taravari, head of one of the two Alliance for Albanians’ two wings, and, on the other side, VLEN’s Izet Mexhiti (First Deputy PM) and Bilall Kasami (Tetovo Mayor), were ignoring one another.

However, the previous day, during a visit to Slupcane, Taravari had smilingly shaken DUI leader Ali Ahmeti’s hand. That has increased even more speculation that they will participate jointly in the local elections.

When it comes to VLEN, according to unofficial information, the mayoral candidates will be Kasami (for another term in Tetovo), Minister of Social Policy, Demography, and Youth Fatmir Limani (Kicevo), Mendi Qyra (Struga), Xhemail Cupi (Debar), Abdula Bajramovski (Dolneni), Visar Ademi (Gostivar), Ali Sinani (Vrapciste), Fatmir Sabriu (Bogovinje), Hakim Ramadani (Brvenica), Amir Elezi (Tearce), Blerim Sejdiu (Zhelino), and Muhamed Elmazi (Saraj).

It is still unknown who the potential candidates for Lipkovo, Aracinovo, and Studenicani will be. However, the party’s said that there’s been no final decisions.
