Inclusion of Bulgarians and other minorities in the Constitution, removal of the term “20%” to define the Albanian language, and electing the President in Parliament, not in elections.
Those are the three postulates in Alliance for Albanians leader Arben Taravari’s platform as a presidential candidate that he will target with his partners during the future opening of the Constitution.
As Taravari pointed out, they are in line with the thought of the late Arben Xhaferi, one of the Ohrid Framework Agreement signatories. The goal, according to Taravari, is strengthening consensual democracy in North Macedonia.
Also, he called on DUI to support him in the race, adding that Ali Ahmeti’s party had supported an ethnic Macedonian candidate in the past.
