Taravari’s Alliance for Albanians Wing to Have own List of Candidates for Council Members

On Tuesday, Arben Taravari’s Alliance for Albanians wing decided to have its own list of candidates for council members in the local elections. However, Taravari said it was not leaving VLEN.

“We are not leaving the VLEN coalition. We will have our own lists for council members. When it comes to the issue of mayoral candidates, it’s not definitive. 4-5 people from VLEN cannot decide on mayoral candidates without public opinion surveys and polls”, the VLEN co-leader added.

As he pointed out, his wing will continue to be part of VLEN, “unless they decide to exclude us, in which case we, too, will act appropriately”.
