Trade Union and M-NAV Directors Reach Deal, Strike Postponed

Yesterday, the strike announced by flight controllers for today was put on hold. After five-hour negotiations at the Transport and Communications Ministry, on Wednesday, the Trade Union of Flight Controllers and the three M-NAV heads reached a deal to put the strike announced for 12 October to be put on hold.

However, according to the deal, all demands by the Union will have to be fulfilled this month.

“We agree air traffic at this time mustn’t suffer and, as a result, we have found a joint solution for the strike to be postponed,” Minister Blagoj Bocvarski said.
