Trump Suspends New Tariffs for All Countries, Except for China

U.S. President Donald Trump decided to suspend the recently introduced tariffs for over 180 countries in the world, except for China, for which the tariffs were raised to 125%.

The White House reported yesterday that for all countries, the tariff rate would be brought down to a universal level of 10%. According to Trump, more than 75 countries have approached the U.S. administration to discuss trade, trade barriers and tariffs.

With the initial decision, the Trump administration introduced a 33% tariff on the imports from North Macedonia, for which the government in Skopje said that they will not significantly affect the overall economy of the country, while Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kocoska informed that they are even considering dropping tariffs for U.S. imports to 0%.
