Ukraine Resolutions Issue, too, among Topics at JPC Meeting in Skopje

Reactions to North Macedonia’s decisions regarding the Ukraine resolutions issue have continued.

At Thursday’s meeting of the EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), held in Skopje, Ambassador Michalis Rokas said it was important for North Macedonia to hold on to the EU’s fundamental values and principles and actively demonstrate that within multilateral fora, including in the UN.

The EU Ambassador, who said he was talking on behalf of Enlargement Commissioner Kos and EU foreign policy chief Kallas, stated that that would confirm the geostrategic commitment to the European path.

The Polish Ambassador Mariusz Brymora stated that actions spoke louder than words. In his view, one doesn’t need to follow situations very carefully to realize current geopolitics is very complex.

The Ambassador emphasized it was important for North Macedonia to remain committed to European values and principles.
