In a statement for Radio Free Europe, Ambassador Aggeler says she doesn’t comment on draft-laws. However, she welcomes and strongly supports all efforts to investigate alleged corrupt criminal activities.
“We consider accountable those who abuse public confidence for personal benefit,” the Ambassador notes.
She adds that she supposes that institutional and legislative reforms that will be increasing transparency and strengthening the fight against corruption will be welcomed not only by the international community, but also by all citizens of North Macedonia.
