US Embassy Extends Macedonian Language Day Congratulations

In a video posted on social media on Monday, the US Embassy extended Macedonian Language Day congratulations. Ambassador Angela Aggeler says in the video that before coming to Skopje, some American diplomats learn the language.

The video also shows Embassy employees and Peace Corps volunteers saying several sayings, including “Koj rano rani, dve srekji grabi”. (“The early bird catches the worm.”); “Bez maka, nema nauka.” (“No gain without pain.”); and “Sto kje posees, toa kje znees.” (“As you sow, so you shall reap”.)
