Utkovski: Six Prisoners Used Destroyed Vehicles to Escape by Jumping over Fence

Six prisoners are at large from the Suto Orizari prison. A warrant has been issued.

According to the prison’s head, Boban Utkovski, the persons, whose escape was reported on Sunday, used the destroyed vehicles in the yard as a ladder to jump over the fence. Utkovski told Kanal 5 on Monday that the vehicles would be removed as soon as possible.

Also, a special fence, additional cameras, and new floodlights will be procured. The four prisoners who had escaped from the same prison on 22 July are still at large too.

SDSM criticised the authorities over the matter, urging PM Hristijan Mickoski to dismiss both Utkovski and the head of the Directorate for Execution of Sanctions, Aleksandar Pandov.
