Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski hasn’t revealed new details over the murders of Vanja Gjorcevska and Pance Zezovski. The investigation is currently in the hands of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
As the Minister pointed out on Thursday, the focus is currently on the forensic examination department. For the first time, the database will use face recognition, in addition to the fingerprints system. Additionally, work is underway on the Safe City System.
University professor Marjan Gjurovski believes that the Ministry and investigative organs have so far done the maximum regarding the case, considering the capacities at their disposal. According to him, however, that doesn’t mean the circle will not expand in the further course of the investigation.
Forensic Medicine Institute Director Aleksandar Stankov hasn’t publicly presented details about the autopsy procedures. Prosecutors, too, are waiting for the autopsy findings.
