At Wednesday’s hearing in the trial over last year’s kidnapping and murder of teenager Vanja Gjorcevska and Pance Zezovski, Skopje Internal Affairs Sector Chief Muzafer Karisic said that Vanja’s father, defendant Aleksandar Gjorcevski, had been saying the whole time during the search that they shouldn’t be wasting time because his daughter had been kidnapped and murdered.
According to him, Aleksandar’s behaviour was strange and confusing.
“He didn’t state a concrete reason,” Karisic pointed out.
The Interior Ministry employee confirmed Aleksandar and his friend, Goce Trajkovski had been sending videos and photos to police they had thought would benefit them.
Among the materials was a photo from a camera, from the petrol station in Veles, of Zezovski’s Citroen vehicle, even though police had at that time not connected the two kidnappings.
It was also revealed that there had been a camera facing Vanja’s building entrance, but police had found the cables had been cut. However, Gjorcevski’s lawyer said the witness had presented only personal stands. According to him, based on the testimony, if it hadn’t been for Aleksandar and Goce, Vanja and Zezovski would still be considered missing persons.
