VLEN Says It Is Political Stakeholder with Legitimacy of Ethnic Albanians

In response to DUI leader Ali Ahmeti’s press-conference on Wednesday, VLEN criticised DUI.

As the coalition said, the 8 May elections confirmed VLEN is the political stakeholder that has the legitimacy of ethnic Albanians.

“On whose behalf did Ahmeti decide, in contradiction with EU and US interests, to boycott the second round of the presidential election? Does Ahmeti find interests of Albanians important only when DUI’s in power?

Why did Ahmeti, together with Levica’s Dimitar Apasiev, boycott the election of Afrim Gashi as Parliament Speaker, with a significant majority of 76 MPs? Until Ahmeti answers these questions, the impression will remain that the only thing he cares about is how to save his corrupt hitherto officials from liability,” the coalition said, inter alia.
