VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM Continue to Trade Accusations over Kulakova Case

Political reactions to the case of 20-year-old Vasil Jovanov, the person detained on suspicion that last week, he was behind the wheel in the traffic accident in which 22-year-old pedestrian Frosina Kulakova was killed, as well as to the decision made previously by Judge Daniela Aleksovska-Stojanovska to send Jovanov to a house of correction over a drugs case, have continued.

At a press-conference on Monday, VMRO-DPMNE MP Mile Lefkov called on the Judicial Council to dismiss Aleksovska-Stojanovska.

VMRO-DPMNE reiterated its criticism of SDSM, too, in relation to the case, saying that that party’s HQ in Rankovce is located in a house owned by the Judge’s father. SDSM, in response, again said that Aleksovska-Stojanovska had been elected during VMRO-DPMNE’s rule in 2012.

It also accused VMRO-DPMNE of lying and politicising protests over the case because it wanted to silence people demanding justice.
